Living Earth HD ★★★★☆ ($.99 / App Store) for the iPhone and iPad is an amazing World clock, weather and alarm. The app focuses on a beautifully and ultra realistic rendering of the Earth that spins as it should with the daylight and darkness changing along with cloud patterns for weather in near real time. Jumping from city to city, the Earth will spin to the location like your flying. The only draw back is that the user interface is quite unattractive, especially compared to the “living Earth” doing its thing on the screen.
